I am sorry to say this but most of you guys try to compare frontliner's old (2008-2009) tracks with the shit he produces nowadays. I was a total fan of frontliners old work but ever since he started creating crap I stopped keeping up with his latest tracks. Still got a lot of respect for the old tracks though!

For me it was Headhunterz that got me into Hardstyle in the later parts of 2009. I discovered many great tracks from others like DBSTF, A-lusion, Donkey rollers etc. But some guy made a top 15 Hardstyle mix (climaxes only) and linked it in a thread I made on a forum asking for Hardstyle tracks. He included Sunblast & The First Cut from Frontliner in that mix. As soon as I heard those tracks, Frontliner immediately became my favorite producer. It really, really sucks that Frontliner ditched his old style. His old style is a phenomenal art form. His melodies sounded so mystical, they took you out on a journey. His leads were in the middle of dark and euphoric, which is the best combination. I loved his kicks and how he put so much effort into making new kicks for most of his older tracks. But sadly, Frontliner's old music did not do well. The only people who cared about his old music were we who actually loved the genre and were passionate about it. In a way, I can have some comprehension to why Frontliner decided to change. He is a talented Hardstyle producer but if he would keep it real, he would remain an underground producer (just like A-lusion, who is severely underrated) and never really get anywhere. He would probably waste his talent if he kept it real, sadly. I am not really angry at Frontliner for changing, he deserves the success he has. I am just sad that he reached this success by changing his style and not reaching it from his old style. It sucks also that he does not produce something oldschoolish for his fans that love his old style. But yeah, fame and money and stupid kids that do not know what music should be about ruined everything, like usual.

Whats more interesting is that Frontliner have kept his style (allright, most of the time at least, some tracks can be outcounted) to his original style from 2007-2009 compared to the rest, just sellouts most of them, even those I never thought would sellout.
