That’s a Pablano sweet pepper! Stuff it with Jack cheese and bread it with egg was, flour and penko. Deep fry. Holy moly!!!

No, that's a cubanelle. Poblanos are dark green,thicker walled and have a tough skin.

I planted a 30-gallon tub with spaghetti squash and pumpkin and parked it up next to the trampoline no one is using anymore. Pumpkin is 20 feet and growing with numerous pumpkins and the squash is going nuts as well. It's fun growing veggies on the edge of the trampoline and climbing the netting. One pumpkin runner is working its way onto the center of the trampoline. Perfect garden whimsy!!!

When we moved into a new home my neighbor came over with a squash casserole. It was exactly like this minus the mayonnaise. She brought along the recipe card for it to give to me to welcome us to the neighborhood. It has been a family favorite for 35 years. And we are in Missouri.

I've never added mayonnaise to mines either. I fix mines like my mother and grandmothers do. I add a little can of evaporated milk.👌.I add onions but if I have a bell pepper, I'll add some. My wife makes this and we love it, we even freeze our surplus squash in the summer and have it all winter as well. Some variations she has tried is adding a can of a cream soup, mushroom, chicken celery etc it gives it a little different taste but it's wonderful just plain also. Cornbread crumbled on top can substitute for Ritz crackers. We just love you and your cooking videos! God Bless!

Hey ya'll from Wisconsin! Love your dish and will have to make it when the garden is up and running. Who should I come across on KZbin but Musical Memories with Martha Reed Garvin! We used to listen to her on our way home from visiting our daughter on a Sunday evening. As long as it was just mom and me we could sing along! I was given a similar recipe over 50 years ago: cream of chicken soup, sour cream, butter, & Pepperidge Farm Herb Stuffing. I make a big batch of this every summer in remembrance of the wonderful lady who first made it for me when I was 17 years old & because it’s totally yummy!

I inherited my mom's butcher knife when she passed ( as well as her favorite iron skillet) she used many years on a daily basis. And that knife is the best and sharpest knife ever . So sentimental to me. I remember using them both so many times growing up too ❤ sure miss her

It never gets hotter than 73F at the height of summer. We always have a breeze blowing off the ocean which is like having cold air conditioning on. I live in a rain forest at the base of the southern alps in New Zealand. It is autumn and I saw snow on the alps yesterday. Your recipes are so different.

My grandmother recipe is a can of cream chicken soup and a cup of sour cream no mayonnaise.. the rest is the same. She would put buttered ritz crackers on the bottom and on top.. so good

Squash Alabama Casserole; Preheat Oven to 350 degrees Ingredients; 1-3 lbs. yellow squash 1 onion (diced) 1 pepper diced (optional) 1 cup mayo 2 eggs 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese 1 sleeve Ritz crackers (crushed) Boil to tender a couple lbs. of sliced squash and drain. Sauté a chopped onion and optional pepper. In bowl, mix; 1 cup mayo, 2 eggs, 2cups shredded cheese (cheddar), add peppers and onions and mix, add squash and mix. salt and pepper. Put into casserole dish. Bake x25-30 min. at 350 degrees. Cover with crushed Ritz crackers, and continue baking 5-10 until browned.
