How can that be no let. There are far too many of that. Fair play he was the better player at the end but he also blocks too much.

Like Shorbagy (Mohammed): great player, but hits hard low forehands to the service box that he doesn't clear, and if anything backs towards the T into his opponents line. Some of those should be strokes for not clearing.

Too much blocking.... at least should have given a let on the match point..

when watching the matches, I wasn't a fan of Asal - it seems a bit annoying with all the no lets and him bullying the T.

Asal guy is a prick. Always show respect to your opponent. Ref needs to get let off work

perhaps I am not the only one person who did not enjoy Asal's attitude. I absolutely agree his rank is outstanding but I dislike his attitude as well as playstyle. of course some fellas would think thats one of the strategies. but for me he is just being a richard for blocking opponent player. Asal has a great potential if he grows up with mature sportmanship attitude. He could've won without those rude victory dance and attitude from whole game.

Asal is ranked 44 in the world and was already the junior champ - think they should move on from junior tournaments when they've won them and are competing at world top 50 level.

It is not his fault if he his doing tremendously well for his age, he is even 17, so he can compite the next year too, Hania El Hamammy is the world no 18 in the world, her win was even more predictable, but if she want to play the tournament she is on her right

@@andres190393 Fair enough - I thought he'd won the U19 already but it was the U17 last year. Maybe they should lower the upper age band to U18 as next year Asal may be a world top 20 player and we know juniors these days tend to mature faster in most sports.

@@dalstonjazz In fact I´d say juniors these days tend to mature later in most sports, Ashour or Elshorbagy reach the top 10 when they were juniors, Nadal, Becker or Borj won grand slams before their 20s, but now you can´t imagine Asal as top 10 in a year time and he is the most promising junior in the last 10 years, out of Asal there is no junior among the top 100 in the world he is more an excepcion than a rule
