It was a double bounce. If you pause it and go frame-by-frame you will see that the ball moves every frame except for the two frames just before he hit it. It stopped moving because it hit the floor.

Totally agreed. If it was a double, with that racket face angle the ball is going to be quite loose

This is some of the fast maniacal squash i wish Paul Coll would sometimes play. He is probably the fittest player on the circuit but doesnt volley anywhere near as he could and should. Finally, he needs to go for his shots like these two, turn it into a nickfest!!

the commentators quickly latched on to elshorbagy motivating himself by screaming come on in the direction of rosner...... and said it was unnecessary..... if it was nick matthew they would have been saying he is a fighter displaying great character etc they were even implying that elshorbagy is not a gentleman when they were commenting that rosner is such a gentleman and they said that is the difference......

yep it was an i havent played since the 80s, but i am surprised that i can still sit hear an call lets or strokes accurately.. like bike ridin, i guess. it comes out yrs later when you try it. hey i was no champ, got to b 1 a4 an a3 as a sub in strong comps, NSW Central coast to nth syd, aust. gee im an old fart now, cant play anymore, but so surprised i can still mentally ref. back in those days a comprtant A4 player could be reffing the club champ and another A grade no 1 player.. I have just started watching this agin, n i am hooked. :-)

I'm a big fan of psa tv and the commentators. However when I hear the blatant favouritism on a regular basis of the commentators towards the European players and particularly the English players, I feel it's time that a commentator is introduced from out of Europe...... maybe Egypt?

Shorbagy has a bad attitude and he's not an example to follow for the youngest players. That's it.

Christian Isabelle with all due respect, I disagree strongly. I feel he is a highly motivated player and shows all players a great deal of respect on the courts. I also feel if you compare his attitude to players such as nick matthew or gaultier, it is much better. He throws much less tantrums on the court, plays fairer and shows far more respect to his fellow players. He is a better role model.

shorbagy has a really bad habit of not calling out (at that level of play he 100% knows) his double bounces, fishing for strokes, etc. he guides his racquet on players to get easy strokes. call it "knowing the game" or "playing with the rules" but at the end of the day its gamesmanship and it is neither fun to watch nor to play against. unfortunately, the refs only call it out ~60% of the time.

time for these racist commentators to be replaced if you ask me....... it's happening too often to be excused. PSA TV and the game of squash has grown well beyond Europe. The fans deserve much better
