SquashSkills was launched in 2012 by Former World number 1 Peter Nicol and co-founder Jethro Binns. Our goal is to give everyone access to high level squash coaching in an effort to help them become the best player they can be.
When we launched we were very player focused, but as time went on we felt that we also had the opportunity to build a platform that could help coaches expand their knowledge and bring variety to their training.
Coaches can now create and schedule their players training sessions, set drills and tests, and track progress and improvement.
The new website is packed full of tools for both coaches and players, guaranteed to improve your understanding of the game.
Start winning more!

Brilliant! after watching this video and another one about the T being a flexible concept and how the circling-drive-dance works I feel like I can start to build a good game plan around this volley drop idea. I liked the explanation about hitting the floor before side wall too!

also, stay well above of the 'T" on an American Court. It is set much further back on these, and u will be vulnerable to short shots if ur on the painted one

I'm playing squash as a hobby. Yesterday I lost since my opponent played low shots. Do you have any tips how to defend low shots? e. g. such as 2:35

+DjDee Dee Try and move forward on the T so when the ball is hit low you are closer to the front wall because the ball will land shorter. To stop your opponent being able to play the ball low and hard try and get the ball past the service box into the back of the court to limit options. You can do this using either height on the front wall or hitting the ball harder with quick racket head speed aimed just below the service box to get the ball to the back of the court.

I have a general question as a beginner. Nearly all videos I see online use the type of court you are on (I think it's called "international court?) I only have access to the other kind (american court, I think? it has round serving boxes). I know the dimensions of the two types are different. Would how you play and what techniques you use need to be different between the two courts? If yes, could you explain the difference? Thank you!!!!!!!!

No Peter Nicol here, but I've played on the American (hardball) courts often and it's a big transition from the Internation game.. The best strategy to use on them is to keep the ball straight, working between drives and drops (and volley drops!)! Cross-courts are a no-no! My boasts are always way off on them due to the change in angles.
