The artist vs the craftsman -- two of the greatest players of all time -- and great sportsmen -- a joy to watch!
@baseballgenius34 жыл бұрын
Peter Eedy a joy in every way. Obviously the play is great but the sportsmen thing you mention. No arguments, they call their own shots down, just such great guys on court. Never gets old watching them.

The sheer Egyptian-ness of this one brings a smile to my face. Extra points to Shabana for the incredible get at 10:58.

OHHH MY GOD. This audience doesn't even know they see something out of this world (kinda dead). Amazing squash produced by these two. Shabana has a godlike forehand. Such an accuracy and power and those perfect lines. LMAO commentators at 11:50+. YUP! SHABANA IS NOT NORMAL!

Shabana absolute legend, very technical surgically precise at 34 years of age, reminds me of Jangir.

Jahangir was no doubt the greatest squash player of all time. But these two Giants are equally exciting to watch

Once there were Jahangir and Jansher then came Shabana and Ashour, two great pairs of players. The game was different the rackets were different then but still it was squash. Demanding as always

At 0:50 Ashour just wanted to show some confidence but Shabana didnt understand this behaviour and copied him either revenging or deliberate repeating the strategy at 0:57 so Shabana should control hi temper

Hasn't there been #PSA activity lately? It's been a long since this channel uploaded recent events. Or is it that definetly anything is free anymore? Simple doubt; don't feel affronted please.

Whats wrong with Ramys movement to the back, he seems to move differently. backhand always left foot forehand always right foot forced?

@chinyenling19947 жыл бұрын
This is actually to see ur opponent easier I think
@bustertornado54332 жыл бұрын
Open stance (left foot on the backhand, right foot on the forehand) gets you to the ball faster because you have less distance to cover, but it's harder to balance so you lose some ball control.

15:35 surely that’s a stroke if ball goes back through your own legs, independent of where your opponent is.
@petereedy60926 жыл бұрын
Hi John -- no, it's only a stroke if your opponent is in position to hit the ball -- Shabana was certainly not there

TheHilarious91 Yes. Keep practicing.
@frazzledolph9 жыл бұрын
+TheHilarious91 Watch some videos on youtube, i've seen some videos and they might prove helpful for you. I'd say dont try and hit too hard to begin with, work on getting the right technique first - where you slice the ball and guide it into the nick. Then work on different variations adding pace and from different parts of the court. But first and foremost, check out some videos. P.s. im by no means a coach or anything like that, just how i went about working on hitting cross court nicks myself :)
@MattMarshallUK9 жыл бұрын
+TheHilarious91 I'm not certain of this but I think hitting cross court nick is easier for pro mens because the tin is lower. Someone will no doubt correct me if I'm wrong.
