My Endgame Gear KB65HE with rapid trigger, an aluminum case, Ducky doubleshot PBT keycaps, and pre-lubed Gateron KS-37B switches only cost $100 (got it on sale). $500 for a keyboard without rapid trigger just seems crazy, unless you're a really big keyboard enthusiast.

Plenty custom keyboards that are north of 500 bucks and most of them don't have rapid trigger, because that's only useful for the most professional of pro gamers. The people who buy custom keyboards don't care about that because they are casual gamers at most. It's like complaining that a Patek Philippe has no smart functions...

It's cute but 😵‍💫 For gaming performance the 8k Hz Wooting 80 HE is $200 for plastic or $290 for metal. If you can't wait for it to ship, the 60HE is in stock right now for $175 And for enthusiasts I'd assume most are willing to build/mod. If they didn't enjoy it they wouldn't be deep in the hobby no?

Wooting is 8K wired, not wireless. Also the CNC construction on this kind of makes the Wooting look cheap AF. I get the 80HE looks nice but reality needs to set in that it is cheaper, and it looks cheaper also. Although I still think the Azoth Extreme is overpriced.

Go for the ergo keyboards and upgrade. Sofle V1/V2, Corne, Dactyl, etc. column stagger or ortholinear boards. Today's boards are outdated.

I’ve been using North-facing switches for a long time, and listening to those “keyboard enthusiasts”, I tried the South-facing switches keyboard. Turns out I really don’t like the way the RGB of South-facing switches light up, it looks “cheap” for a $200 keyboard I spend on. Like I can see the lightbulb from the angle I sit, it’s fking ugly. North-facing switches doesn’t have this problem and light up evenly, props to ROG for keeping the North-facing switches❤ Loving the Azoth so far😍

Hall effect is just a must, but we already have Snap Tap as a coming up requirement. Asus is 2 years in the past with their tech, and at nearly 2-3x the price of competitors. Please, Asus, do market research before releasing such products.
