I too put the cover on top to make hole smaller and also use 25lb plates. When I got this I had trouble getting to 10 reps at 120lbs but just this week am up to 250lbs got 8 reps last session was 240lbs for 10. I have the Titan version, this feels so good on the knees and stretches your lower back like hanging from pullup bar. I use 1lb plates between them to help get them off.

I tried the Titan version at Home gym con a few weeks ago and LOVED it . They really leveled it up . I don’t use the top plate, for me I like without . Amazing on 240 for 10!!! The traction for the lower spine is such a nice stretch.

@@ashleytheamazing I use the plate as my wife has hip mobility issues due to rod being placed into I think her left hip as a child. I find it easier to add remove 25lb plates vs 45s. Thanks worked hard at this it is an amazing piece of equipment and can't believe almost no gym has it. I usually lift heavy and since I'm 53 need 2-3 lighter far higher rep days to heal. I have the Rogue Kabukki Transformer bar for squats and love that too but I lift heavier on the Titan as I don't want to hurt lower back which I did when I got my gym was doing 280lb deadlifts and on the 8th rep felt pain and it hurt for months. That made getting belt squat a necessity. I've healed but scared to reinjure it. About 5 months ago I squatted 300lbs but could only do 3 I suspect I could do 350lbs for 3-5 reps now but honestly too scared to try the belt squat is just safe zero chance of hurting lower back/hips. Love seeing people highlight this awesome piece. The inventor is a great guy I have his Henny straps too but rarely use them. Cheap form of lever arms basically.

@@ashleytheamazing One piece of equipment you and your clients might like is XMark's leg curl/extension. Not as good as commercial pieces but is pretty good for home gym.

I got this in early January and its blown up my lower legs 2.5 inches since then. I still squat but this lets you add volume and not make lower back sore so you can have deadlift day too for forearms and traps and overall strength.

Are you aware that you can also do upper body loading pin exercises on the SquatMax MD? You can also do plyo box exercises on the platform and situps and crunches by putting your legs in the well and anchoring it on the band pegs.

Squat box great idea for hitting quads without risk of injury to a back, what are dimensions of unit concerning floor space for a home gym. Also please consider video showing how to do single leg movements with dumbbells Thanks for sharing

Great suggestion on the single leg movement. I can add that in. The main platform is 45x30" and 20" height. The legs are angled, making the total footprint 45x39".
