I love Mecha yordles so I'm pretty disappointed they haven't seen relevancy in the meta despite their buffs in the past previous patches. I wonder what kind of buff to the archetype would make them viable on ladder.

Hey Mogwai, I really appreciate you bringing up the recent news of Kazuki Takahashi. His passing and work has affected me a lot as well because Yugioh is the main reason why I got into card games in the first place. I actually have a very similar story to yours in terms of card games. I'm younger than you, but Magic the Gathering was also the first card game I came into contact with, but I never got into it. Yugioh however, caught my eye a lot more, especially because the anime was very popular when I was a kid and I loved playing Yugioh with my friends at school and also my Dad at home. So the news of Kazuki's passing was really sad to me, and I really resonated with your message at the end. Even though this was a more serious and sad topic, I am glad you brought it up. Thank you for your videos, they have brought me a lot of entertainment over the years!

Mogwai I'm glad you took the time to honor Kazuki Takahashi. Konami put out a statement on Twitter. Maybe it's the nature of twitter with its limited characters but the statement felt empty. They definitely made it clear they'd continue Yugioh sales but I was expecting something more heartfelt. I could tell your response was genuine and very kind. My experience was very similar to Mogwai's. So Kazuki Takahashi, thank you for all the invaluable and cherished memories from my childhood. You will be missed greatly and I believe the world was made a better place from your presence 🙏

I’ve put this on Reddit but it hasn’t been seen, I’d love to get this information out more. For new players however the challenges that teach you each strategy need to be updated when they balance cards. For example the prediction challenge is not able to be completed as of now. There are most likely a few more as well and just wanna get this to the devs.

Hey Mog! I have a recommendation for you. Try resplendant stellacorn on a midrange soraka/galio (maybe poppy) formidable deck. I'm even running crystal ibex in this deck. It feels great for me, but most importantly, it is super spicy!

I couldn't buy yugioh cards back in the day so I'd ask my friends for cards they stopped playing and made a deck with scraps. It was really fun and I kept playing but I never could get fully into card games because they were all very expensive. LoR reignited my love for card games but nothing would've started without those secret yugioh games I had with my friends in school.

It'd be nice to see Mecha-Yordles get some new support cards. The difference between 2 and 3 viable regions for any given archetype triples the amount of decks in that archetype, so Bandle being a more viable Discard region would be neat.

Oh boy, it's Pacific Rim time, this one is going to be good *grabs popcorn* Outside of that video, I had an absolute badoonkers idea right before this video released: Anivia Taliyah landmark control. Basically, the idea is that both Tal and Anivia benefit tremendously from overwhelm so you can go with the Herald of the Magus to grant it to both. Plus, thanks to the taliyah/hourglass combo, it's possible to print Anivias. Not as well as the SI variant, however I'd argue this shurima variant has an easier time closing out games thanks to its access to overwhelm anivias, taliyahs and the Arsenal.
