I feel like there could be more time saved in act 1 through use of the electric shield. Double-jumping could save time waiting around on the hanging bars. Good runs

Electric shields? Where we're going, we don't need electric shields! Not when we have pure speed! No, but seriously, I'd have to remove speed up abilities to use the electric shield. Furthermore, there's only like one place at the beginning where that would make any difference, and even then the double jump boost isn't that significant. You'd still need to be close to the top to capitalize on it, for that one area and maybe skipping the Eggrobo above the downward slope. You might save, at most, like a couple seconds? But then you'd lose that extra time and more probably from whatever speed ups you unequipped to use the electric shield. I don't see it being useful or viable across the whole act for improving the time enough to sacrifice overall speed for it. You're welcome to try to prove me wrong though! You know I like a good competition! =D
