Hey all,
This has been a pretty cool experience, to be able to even concieve of making a milestone video like this.
Thank you all so much.
Not much to say here, so the rest of the desc. is just going to be the regular stuff.
Music: Ancient Ruins Courtyard, Ancient Ruins Relaxed by Harry Mack; Mice On Venus, Wait, by C418
Texture Pack Details:
Vanilla Tweaks(This affects mainly everything involved with 3D-ifying components and see through scaffolding and the Dark Mode GUI), Ph1lza’s Diamond Netherite Highlights Pack, some random netherite elytra pack you can probably find by googling.

To be fair to redstone dust, the Java edition, which you play on, does have the ability to shift click it back into dot mode, where it only powers the block below it.

redstone torches can be 1 ticked and observers can interface with it to 1 tick them they have to be powered from 2 sides at the same time or the torch has to be powered by another torch that has been 1 ticked to interface with observers you can split the observer line and power the block that the torch is connected to from 2 sides sorry if this is difficult to understand, englisch is not my first language

You cant lump the bells in with the chest logic, because they can be triggered by redstone. They are like the redstone lamps of sounds. Or just like a worse note block. (On bedrock they are better as you can detect when they are rung, which I don’t think you can do on java)

your thing about the target block cracked me up bc i feel like almost every redstone component that gets added with some intended functionality, is not what we end up using it for, which i think is the best part about the redstone community - the community collaborating to make things work way cooler than most of the base game functions

The chiseled bookshelf is fine as it is, but I honestly think it is a bit inconsistent when compared to other components. IMO it'd be better if the comparator did what it does with every other container and simply output how full it is. The 'last interacted with slot' mechanic could be moved out and made into a pulsing signal that the block itself emits when it is being interacted with, similar to how lecterns pulse when you turn a page. That pulse would still keep the variable signal strength, of course (which would also still be consistent, as sculk sensors and target blocks already set a precedent for variable strengths in a pulse)

"Hopper are flawless" This has potential to become a meme, lol. The lag is almost as bad a as bells, which are useful as an updator, btw. Hoppers are also locational, limiting their use. Mojang could make them directional, basing their update timings on a well-ordering of the coordinates. This would make them incredibly useful.

is it possible to ask a redstone machinery concept design? if so, can i ask of a auto-jukebox player(randomized songs) *with* a skip button feature for skipping the current song? i know this is achievable using a hopper minecart to forcibly pull out the disc inside the jukebox, however I couldn't seem to come up with a compact design that almost immediately switches off to the next set of music disc when the button is pressed. I also tried to manually pull out the music disc but automatically return the popped out music disc to the dropper, but the popped out music discs wont go into the hopper above.

I don't necessarily take requests usually because most things are either already done or won't make great videos, but I'm sure someone has invented a jukebox system like the one mentioned.

I understand this is just a fun video but comparator's got way underrated. They are one of the most OP blocks in redstone. They can detect a signal through a conductive block (seems underwhelming but has solved several issues in various ways), they have 2 modes (compare and subtract) and 3 inputs, also you can produce a signal from a non charged component which is great for compact building and solving signal interference issues. Also target block is ugly

string needs a higher rating than tripwire hooks cuz you can use it as a floating pressure plate that doesn't power in all directions in combination with observers also wtf lightning rod? it was great back when it was movable in the powered state but since that got removed it's just another boring component barrel is sometimes useful as a block that players can interact with (so that the observer notices) but it can't get powered trapped chest is useful as a component to redirect redstone in cannonbuilding doors are super useful because you can power 1 extra block upwards, something that would require a piston otherwise but pistons are crappy in that they double activate observers so doors are just better in that case also iron door is better cuz better tnt resi
