I read somewhere, a great point. yes they all agreed to "the game" but once they literally drugged and kidnapped them, it's all illegal. therefore the 'contract' they make them sign is completely null & void. but no one (in the game) realizes that. since the whole things illegal, the contract isn't even valid. in a court of law everything else will proceed the 'legalities' of the contract.

asian families are very family oriented. they don't want their relatives especially immediate family going far away from them and in the show, the only reason that the new husband wants to bring the family to the US is to take the daughter away from the protagonist which is very selfish.

K horror and thrillers are the best in the world for me. I recommend checking out SWEET HOME too and ALICE IN BORDERLAND from Japan which has the same genre as this.

SG isn't exactly in the same genre as AiB, where attractive young people forced to solve problems & fight to live has been around for over 20 years, that's why no matter how good AiB or other similar shows it fail to catch attention because the genre is simply jaded and overdone. In SG, the games are well known and the focus isn't on the games or killings but the diverse characters and choices they make.
