This music is actually meant to represent death and impending doom. Which is why it’s called “ the death melody “. If you listen carefully you’ll hear it everywhere. Like In the lion king. The feeling of this song represents how emotionless the pink soldiers are. They are doing their jobs. The circle helps. The triangle kills. And the square manages the place. I think that they didn't know what they were signing up for when they were chosen. They were first afraid when they saw other people die. But they grew to it and don't care. They have lost all emotions and do not care if they die themselves. Some pink soldiers may be quite new that's why we see some of them scared when they are about to die. But the ones that have been around longer seem to not care. You can't get a smile, sad or supprised face out of them. That's the life of the pink soldiers. Sad and emotionless

I think that's pretty accurate. In game two, when a player grabs the gun from a triangle soldier, shoots a square, and basically holds him hostage, he tells him to take off the mask. When he takes his mask off, the man kills himself. He knew he was going to die anyway, but the square soldier seemed unfazed. I mean, he just got shot and he knew he would be killed if he took off his mask, but he kept a straight face.

I love the guards of the show. Their voices and costumes are specifically made to not look human, so the players feel more trapped, since the only human faces that they see are the ones of those who play with them. What I especially like about this theme is that no voice is louder than another. There are different types of vocalising (different types of guards), but everyone is the same volume. This strips all individuality from the voices themselves. Much like the pink guards, sticking to their one role in the system. A perfect theme for the guards, everyone is completely equal.

I love the feeling of uncertainty and ominousness that this song instills. It does a great job of depicting that feeling of “I’m in an environment that I’m not used to and I’m scared of what’s gonna happen”. Perfectly puts you in the shoes of one of the players: living in anticipation of what the game masters will put you through next and fear of whether or not you’ll survive the next game.
