The SAG’s for 2022 haven’t happened yet it will be in January which is the one squid game would be eligible for. The one for 2021 was held in April. @OhPunky I think the award show your probably referring to is the Gotham awards which the squid game cast and crew attended and won their category for breakthrough series but Lee Jung Jae lost for lead actor. As for the 2021 Emmy’s the nominations already came out and squid game was not included because their show came out to late into the year therefore making them unable to make the eligibility cut off date. I think for the 2022 Emmy’s while the show is eligible to be nominated I believe they will get no love from the voting committee due to the fact that the show would have lost its momentum and popularity that would have given it a better chance of winning for the acting category as well as for the show.

I love where society is headed i think its not obvious that english speakers would spend one hour to interview people who speak a different languge it shows we became more open to different cultures acknowledging the fact they have a lot to inlight us with. I hope its only the beginning and we see more and more of that. As bong joon ho said if we only get through the one inch barrier of subtitles... you know the rest
