I wonder if Gi hun will end up being the front man in the end. After his wife passed away, the front man was once in a similar predicament to Gi Hun's. He played the game , won and found out that there was no point in being a hero when people didn't want to be saved.

Gi-Hun will have the opportunity to end the games but he won't. Nobody wants the games to end. Poor people want to fight to be rich, rich people want to pay to watch for entertainment, guards want to be guards for the pay and for power fantasy. The participants in season 1 voted to end their game but changed their minds willingly going right back to the games the next time. The front man joined the games to help Gi-Hun see why they exist. Meanwhile Gi-Hun thinks he's fighting the people who run the games but he's really fighting the instincts of humanity as a whole. Reminds me of football. We all watch people run into each other at full speed and destroy themselves just so they can get a big paycheck and so we can be entertained. It's messed up but we still love it

It was pretty easy to know that the captain was part of the organization from the first time he appeared. If you pay close attention to one of the first scenes he shows up a symbol of the organization can be spotted in his boat rudder.

Bro it’s a thing about pride. “001” (Il - young) could have killed Player “456” ( Seong Gi-Hun) anytime he wanted. But- Il- young(“ player 001”) wants to show Gi-Hun that he will never be able to stop the game. This whole confrontation between 001 and 456 is a game for 001 (Il young) we can see he’s having the time of his life and most fun pretending to be Gi-Huns friend lol. I can’t wait until Seong- Gi-Hun “player 456” realises Il- Young “001” is the main enemy and guy behind the black mask this whole time. He’s also the guy who started this sadistic game we call “squid game”

I am upset at poor planning and complacency from Gi-Hun and "X" team at the night of attack, like they could've been more ready from the attack from "O" - i.e. not sleeping and having the pork ready, they have sacrificed so many "X" members, without defense from the O team.
