i believe the reason frontman went in is because gihun, said in the car something like "i will prove you that the world does not goes your way", challenging frontman's belief about these people. frontman look at them as trash for their greediness and selfishness. and people who tries to help them is the same selfish people who wants to be the hero. so frontman comes in playing the good guy to prove that no matter how good you are, these people will still betray you. he's not trying to level the game because he can change it anytime without entering the field.

i just realized what the two dolls mean im so dumb. one doll watches from behind so they cant just line up behind one another to win easily. i always thought red light green light was too easy, you literally just have to stop moving and the distance you have to go isnt even that far. maybe the second doll has another purpose as well, to make the game as challenging as some of the others.

Actually I think that’s the point, here it makes more sense then in most series and movies. The idea isn’t just a matter of breaking Gi-Hun, it’s based on the villains ideology of giving a fair deal. By not killing him, they will have him play the game to win showing their twisted values of fairness and opportunity. Just the idea of him surviving to the end of the game would destroy him, and make everything he fought to stop pointless to begin with.

Honestly, based on the number of people who brought up this theory, it’s way too predictable and will not be a good plot twist. This is what the Front Man has been trying to do throughout the whole season and such an ending will not surprise anyone. I feel like 456 might die while trying to kill the Front Man, or perhaps his brother will do it, but I don’t see Gi-Hun assuming the leadership. It will end the same way Oldboy ended , Oh Dae Su and GI-Hun are basically the same character. Where Oh Dae Su prepared for his revenge for years through shadow boxing while being locked up in a motel, Gi-Hun locked himself up in a motel and started practicing how to use weapons to track down the creators of the game . Oh Dae Su accepted to return back to his life since taking revenge revealed to him a shocking reason and Gi-hun shall reach out a shocking unravel that makes him want to go back to his daughter , he had been warned throughout the season to take the plane and not seek out revenge .Gi-Hun will face the consequences of his actions in front of the players whom their lives got destroyed because of his revolt and he shall return home to see his daughter after asking for his memories to be erased .

I feel so bad for Gi-Hun. He lost everyone important to him in his life. First, he hasn't seen his daughter in 3 years (kind of both seasons.) Second, he loses the person that he trusted the most in the end of the games (season 1.) Third, he loses his childhood best friend due to him committing su1ci1d3 for Gi-Hun to win the games (season 1.) Fourth, his mom dies from complications of diabetes (season 1.) And then lastly, he loses his best friend. The only person he had left.

People here that think this rebelion stood a chance are just competely wrong and clueless lol Its obvious the front man instructed the guards not to kill him or the main character. They were just toying with him to make him feel like they had hope and to put on a show for the vips. Notice how at the end when he says ok lets wrap things up a whole new wave of guards come out and it is clear that they never stood a chance to begin with. The only time the guards weren't in on it was at the start entering the player room. I think the front man purposely chose the least skilled guards to go in and made sure there werent so many to put the odds in the rebellions favour

I mean, Gi-Hun and the others don't know that yet. So from their perspective, the rebellion was an understandable choice. It's either fight back to end it and get out, vote out (nearly impossible), or just wait and play the games waiting to die, or be the last one winning. All these odds are shite. 😂🥲 What really screwed them was frontman, the kid with the PTSD and the outside crew not being able to help.
