Squier Classic Vibe Bass VI (CME Exclusive Metallic Purple) Unboxing & Demo

It's been a long wait for this one, hence the perhaps a bit over-dramatic introduction. The Squier Classic Vibe Bass VI is a quality, yet affordable, take on the unique Fender Bass VI.
Is it a guitar, or is it a bass? Yes.
After the dramatic unboxing, I give a brief overview of the features of the instrument, some of its pros and cons, and a demo of the various sounds that can be achieved.

My Squier Bass VI arrived at the height of COVID and the nut was really badly cut and needed to be replaced. Bridge adjustability is pretty non-existent, as you'd indicated, but there are some pretty affordable aftermarket replacements. Mine has a lot of slippage on the low E tuner, so I may be replacing the tuners. The muffling effect of the bass cut is really significant, as you indicated. I really enjoy mine, really unique.

Check out hard tail options if you dont care about the tremolo. I dont regret deleting it from mine at all. Solved alot of the quirks you mentioned.

My Daughter's Purple Squier Bass VI ordered from CME should arrive in a few days. I got it for her because I know she will do some interesting metal and Indie stuff with it. But my one caveat, was to have my chance to play "Witchita Lineman" on it, at least once. Nice video and playing.
