Thanks for playing some grimey stuff. I'm tired of looking for guitar demo videos and finding nothing but blues solos which tell me nothing about how the instrument would fit with the type of music I'd intend to make with it.

@@DestroyingAmpsGearDemos no worries man! Im trying to master the bass vi for a drum/guitar duo project and too many videos just settle for it being a muddy murky mess, or just fuzz it out. You and Tim Sway are the only two videos Ive seen where you use it to lay a bass rythym but still give it some higher frequency color. Some of these riffs are downright worthy of pilfering haha, keep it up

I'm planning on getting one for my own Christmas gift. Hahaa. I like it in black with that tort guard the best. Thanks for the tip on getting thicker strings. I've been doing my research on this odd duck. Found out that Lennon and Harrison used it on the White album, Let It Be, and Abbey Road. Also Robert Smith used it on the Desintagration lp. So glad Squier has re released them. I'm a huge fan of the Squier Classic Vibe series. I currently have a fsr Mustang and a fsr Jazzmaster. Love them! Great demo and great playing. Cheers 🍻 from Detroit.

Both! Neither sounds better really. If you want it to have more low end like a bass use a bass amp. If you want to riff it like a guitar use a guitar amp. Really no right or wrong way.

thicker strings.... i would put 130 strings, just to make sure it's bassy (and because even regular 34 inches sound crappy with 90 being the thickest string)
