This guitar just sounds great. Wow. Squier is killing it.

Love that tone!

I would argue any guitar will sound good coming off your desk. Maple fretboard feels a bit out of place, but love the combo of black pg on the walnut body

Some Little Chaos previews sprinkled into the demo?? 🤔

OK, I have never heard one of these sound as good as you made it. Wow! Was the tone mostly your Orange AD30?

I have one of the Squier '72 Thinlines with the Wide Range Humbuckers and I don't think the pickups are all that different than a normal humbucker. They're pretty much just normal humbuckers in a WRHB casing. They use bar magnets with metal poles where as the original WRHB used CuNiFe magnets for poles. They stopped making them for decades because the magnet fell out of production and is kind of brittle so it's difficult to cut the threads, but they've recently started making them again for $250 a pop. This is a neat little guitar. I would have scooped one up so fast when I was in my Telecaster phase.

"They stopped making them for decades because the magnet fell out of production" They stopped making them because they sucked an no one wanted them or the guitars they came on! These fake WRHB's are MUCH better sounding than the vastly overpriced CuNiFe reissues or the originals. And no, they are NOT the same as normal humbuckers. They are manufactured similarly, however.

@@Great-Documentaries yeah dude, I’m sure they sucked so much that Fender would never make them again… oh wait.

Love these. With an actual WRH in it (rather than a normal humbucker disguised as a WRH) the sound is huge. Check out Madlove pickups, most affordable CuNiFe WRH on the planet.

It's NOT a normal humbucker! You don't know what you are talking about. Sure, it does not have the CuNiFe magnets, but otherwise is the SAME construction! Fender stopped making the originals because they sucked an no one wanted them or the guitars they came on! These fake WRHB's are MUCH better sounding than the vastly overpriced CuNiFe reissues or the originals. Wasting money on Madlove WRHB's would be just that.
