I remember I got into a fight with my partner (well ex now lol) and he was supposed drive me home after a party but since he was mad he didn't. I was stuck and had to call my parents for a ride. Quite honestly that was the end for me, relationships include conflict and fights (some fights worse than others) but I remember thinking that if he really cared for me I don't know how he could let anger be the reason he does something hurtful like that. (it was such a stupid fight as well). You and Shane clearly have enough respect and love for each other that even in a fight you can still respect each other. I think if your partner doesn't help you or do the bare minimum for you during fights that's a red flag.

I'd either sleep very little or not at all and it is much heavier on your body and mind plus having to lay next to someone and feel that bad energy is awful. Liese Lemay yeah, like you, my “shattering” days were very short lived thankfully! Contemplating and clearing up all the damage after one impulsive move definitely gives you the chance to cool down and see how unhelpful that kind of tactic is. Was most definitely a learning experience for me and taught me to keep my temper in check. On a side note, though, I hope you tossed that abusive partner away for good! That would be a throw-away I would 100% encourage!! 🚮

I find the "What happens when we fight. Who does the care giving?" question to potentially be the most... insane question you guys have had to answer and I have heard some ridiculous ones on this channel. I don't mean to compare apples to oranges but it equates in my mind to "I was mad at my boyfriend when he cut his arm off so I made him drive himself to the hospital." Y'all are so good natured to answer all these questions because my sarcastic nature would not be so mature haha

I adore you both so much! I adore you love, your relationship, your willingness to share your everyday stuff! The everyday stuff, are the simple things that make or break relationships, you laugh about them, talk about them and share them with us. The people that don't know what love looks like are the ones that doubt your life and love, because to me you show it and share it in the simple things. Thank you for continuing to share, the world could use a lot more of Squirmy and Grubs love!

The beginning with Shanes expired food rant😂 ok, so im a widow(he died young) and like 5 years ago, my husband was eating some golden crisp cereal. I see him take a bite. Make a face. Take another bite and then dramatically run to the sink, spitting it out, rubbing his tongue with a napkin and being so dramatic😂 Apparently, mixed in with his golden crisp cereal, was chunks of WOOD. And the first bite, he was suspicious and the second bite confirmed, definitely wood. Why the hell would you take a second bite when youve just tasted wood?!? At first I think hes just nuts. And when he poured the entire contents of the brand new box out, i was like "yes, hes nuts" and then i looked....and there's splintered pieces of wood mixed in with the cereal, its hard to notice at first because of the color similarity. Theres no hole on the outer box, but theres a hole in the plastic bag the cereal is in. Hes like what the actual hell, how?!?! He CALLS post cereal. They are also perplexed, probably because hes laughing as he explains😂 but also because wood isnt a ingredient in their cereal. A few days later a KIT arrives in the mail from Post. A bag labelled EVIDENCE is inside the kit. My husband was far too excited about the "CSI looking crime scene kit" they sent for some pieces of wood and the cereal box. We get a call a few weeks later and are informed that in the factory, the bags of cereal are put on like wood palettes and before it was boxed, it was somehow stabbed by the wood palette and the palette splintered off into the cereal. And then they mailed us two coupons for 50 cents off our next box of golden crisp cereal. Which he could never eat again, because he was dramatic AF and said the taste of wood would always linger😂😂 He literally complained about his mouth tasting like wood for days and made me look for splinters in his tongue.

I purchased frosted animal cookies with sprinkles for my daughter (when she was 2) I poured some out on her tray and went about my business cooking. She screamed and started crying, when I turned around she had blood all over her lips. Long story short, shards of super thin, like lightbulb glass, was all over them. To this day, I can’t pass by them in the grocery store without cringing.

I've personally never let a fight drag on into the next day because I can't fall asleep if I know that things aren't okay between me and my partner. Luckily, we've never gone to bed angry with each other because we usually resolve a fight fairly quickly, and if not we always apologize and move past it before bed.
