tried to help an injured squirrel once who had fallen from a tree, had welding gloves on when handling it. It bit right through the glove and deeply into my hand, it left a perfectly shaped puncture hole that took weeks to fully heal. I didn't begrudge the little guy, he had a broken back and died that night while sleeping in a cardboard box inside the house. Hope he was warm and felt safe during his final hours.

If squirrels were as large as bears they be stronger than any grizzly out there. A matter of fact if ants grew to human size they'd be able to lift up to 10 tons or approx 50,000 pounds. Dragonflies if grew to helicopter size would travel at speeds above 5,000 mph well above supersonic speeds.

Incase you didn't know, squirrels have a typical bite force of around 7000 psi. For reference, a Great White's bite psi is around 4000. Squirrel bites on humans can easily breach the skin but they're very nonviolent animals usually so it's pretty rare. A particular incident in the UK involving a violent squirrel named Stripe that bit 18 people in 48 hours, leaving pretty grevious injuries that required stitches. Little guys can pack a punch.
