Squirreled Away Precon Upgrade Guide

We now have (at least) 4 Golgari squirrel commanders: Chatterfang, Hazel of the Rootbloom, Camellia the Seedmiser and The Odd Acorn Gang. Out of those 4, The Gang is the only commander that specifically cares about squirrels and only squirrels and lends itself to a pure tribal deck, while Chatterfang and Hazel mostly care about tokens and are aguably at their strongest when built completely without any squirrel synergies. Camellia is somewhere in the middle since she cares about squirrels *and* food, but her entire pay-off is - at least - built around having other squirrels in play.

Last night, I made over 80 tokens in only a few turns with only 5 lands on the board with the base deck..

I don't have many cards to add in ATM, but I want to add in a Kozeliks Command, Esikas Chariot, Camellia, Peregrin took and mirkwood bats and a three tree city for sure!

The command was not added in, I'm dumb and mistook colourless for generic when including it. Obelisk of Urd has gone in instead

Just so you know, you can play colorless spells in any deck. You just need to make sure that you can make the 2 colorless to cast it. Depending on how many utilities lands and mana rocks you play that's possibly fairly easy.

@@tefin420 yeah I just don't have many sources for the colourless mana in there ATM, but I'm restructuring the deck to Abzan, and will absolutely have the resources for it then

i picked up this last weak and im turning it into more of a Aristocrats deck draining the rest, im having a lot of fun with it and with some upgrades its surprising very competitive
