Sorry for the late reply🫶🐿 I usually give nuts without shells if I want to make sure they eat immediately. Nuts with a shell are mostly going to be buried for later. it's good to have an alternation between nuts with shell and without shell. Squirrel teeth are constantly growing and the shell will help maintain their teeth. 🐿🫶💙🩷☺️
