While I do love how they look a bit more animated as statues-- as well as the fact I find their bulging eyes really cute-- Honey and Booboo made a great translation to squishy form! The glowing goo effect, while accidental, looks so neat and also makes sense for swamps, honestly? Especially since some plankton can be fluorescent. Also, since seeing the statue in their intro episode, I've been having a strong need to draw your ogre couple. If it's cool with you, I'd love to do a speedpaint video of them if I can find the time.

I guess I’m a bit like Booboo. I have a t-shirt I wear sometimes that’s black with white writing. The writing says “I bite”. I scared a guy at a restaurant once when I was wearing it. Fabric glue is not a strong hold. Once it's dry you have to reinforce it with puffy paint making sure you don't tug on it cuz whatever you glued will come undone.

The original squishiest also look like a squish that Mariah has made over before years ago. They weren’t velvet tho and she made it into a hot chocolate bear lol
