Fun fact, ninja's actually originally didn't wear black. Background actors in Kabuki theaters wear that all black costume. They would be the people moving props around and not supposed to be noticed. Someone came up with the idea to have a ninja "blend in" to the environment by becoming a background actor and jumping into the middle of a scene to surprise the audience. It apparently worked so well that ninja's became associated with the black costume.

Kay so just an idea. The ninja animals are the guardians/protecters of the donut queen's castle/home land. You don't have to take the idea in, but I just thought it was a cute idea.
