Sr. Briege McKenna "The Healing Power of Jesus in the Sacraments" Women's Conference 2019 Part One

The theme for the 2019 Diocese of Arlington Women's Conference was "Miracles Do Happen." The sold-out annual women’s conference at St. Joseph Church in Herndon featured Poor Clare Sister Briege McKenna; Congregation of Marian Fathers of the Immaculate Conception Father Donald Calloway; and Mass celebrated by Bishop Michael F. Burbidge March 2.
Sister McKenna, 73, was born in Ireland and entered the convent at 15. She suffered with rheumatoid arthritis and was transferred to her community in Tampa, Fla. She was miraculously healed at age 24 and says she later received the gift of healing.
Sister McKenna encouraged the attendees not to let fear get in the way of striving for personal holiness. "Just do what Jesus wants you to do," she said. "The Holy Spirit is the grace needed to mediate the Gospel."

I had the honor of meeting Sister in New Orleans at St. Dominic Church. My daughter was attending elementary school and I think the year was 2000. I read her book Miracles Do Happen. Instantly I was swept away. I would sit in church and pray how wonderful it would be to meet her. About two or three years later I was reading through the church bulletin and almost fell out the pew,,,,there it was sister was coming to speak for three evenings! I thanked God 100 times! I was inbetween jobs and attending school so money was tight. I was so happy that I wanted to give her something on her last evening. I went to the Christian book store with six dollars to spend. I knew she was from Ireland and saw the most beautiful clover that you hangin a window. I figured it would be way more then 6 bucks. Much to my delight it was 5 dollars even. After she was finished speaking on her last evening and before she went out to mingle she asked not to ask for a healing and to please give other people a chance to say hello. A lined quickly formed I suddenly felt nervous, the lady in line did exactly what she asked the people not to do and she was giving sister a grocery list full of all the ailments family members had ....as sweet as sister could be she held her hand up and said in that darling accent “oh you rascal ... I will pray for all your intentions but time is limited” so next was me. I shyly handed her the gift and said “I’m just so happy to meet you and here’s a little something to show my appreciation “ she smiled so sweetly and hugged me! I know beyond a shadow of a doubt if what we pray for from our hearts if it delights our dear Lord and He knows this is right for us...it will happen but we have to remember in His time, not ours! I read her amazing book. It found me during a dark time in the church library. I called her a few years later and she prayed with me. I thank God for that gift! I wept bc I do t deserve her time but God blessed me with her. ! She is a living saint! I wish more people knew of her. God bless her!!

Sister Briege pray for my grandchildren and particularly my 14 granddaughter she has a heavy heart and she has been a beautiful spirit for 14 years and now she is not the same at all please pray for her.

I enjoyed this book "Miracles do Happen" I was at a Lift Jesus Rally when she spoke on this book and purchased it and must say it came to me at a time when I most needed it. I am trying to in contact with Sr Briege but have not succeeded. I need her to pray for my daughter who has mental illness and the medication has cause her brain to damage and getting worse. She basically is unable to do daily task, unable to express her feelings, she home all-day, no friends nothing to do. Doctors and help organisations don't want to and don't know how to help her. But I believe in God and I believe in miracle and and trying to reach this sister but nobody is answering the phone on her side. I am in Sweden. I would like to bring my daughter to meet sister. I wish someone would help me. Everytime I try to reach out for help all the doors are closed 😪.

Jesus have mercy and God save the trans community. May we be delivered and healed by the Divine Physician in Heaven. We will be like genderless angels in Heaven, amazingly happy like we never dreamed possible. Women won't have wombs, as there's no childbirth or marriage there according to the Gospel. Perfect bodies and a perfect Loving God just loving us. Perfect peace and happiness. Sounds great! Lead all souls of sinners to Heaven. Amen
