I had the pleasure of hearing the Goodman’s at my church in the 90’s. I was so blest. The presence of the Holy Spirit was palpable. It was a wonderful time.

Ahh, so many memories. I remember my Mom playing the Happy Goodmans all the time while growing up. She shed so many tears listening to the albums. As a child I thought my Mom was sad. I now realize as a grwon man that these were tears of joy, looking forward to her homecoming. I too believe this was the best group ever and had the pleasure of listening to them in person. Vestal, of course, is my favorite!

Been listening to Happy goodmans since early 60's. They still my favorite group. I believe they sang what they knew to be true because they had the victory thru good & bad times. I tell my grandkids hard times will define us; if we trust in Jesus he will bring us thru.

I am searching for an old song by the Happy Goodman Family, it had these wordings ". . . How about you brother, how about you. I came through tribulation how about you. . . . . . . . " that's all the wording I remember in the chores. I searched through all the ones listed but nothing on all these albums. If someone can help, it would be wonderful. Some of these songs were on the album that this particular song was on.
