Groupset package has a plastic guide to help with tuning the rd. We dont have problems with sram in tuning.

I have this problem with Eagle SX after 200 miles on a 2021 bike. It tends to skip a gear once or twice as you click through from one end to the other. Also, if you adjust to get upper half better aligned the lower half is off, and vice-versa. Shop thinks it's endemic to the cheapo SX derailleur. I will probably go ahead and upgrade but am curious if it's simply a crummy derailleur or if it's not set up well.

them derailleur hangers on 1x12 are finnicky!!! what youre describing is exact to what i experience on nx

Happened to me as well. Visited my mechanic and he realigned my derailleur, problem fixed.

Mine's issue was only the 1st, 4th & 5th gear 😢 Cause some of my ride, with or without ride with the group, once i use my bike somewhere place, the RD of mine was so fast to out of tone 😢 like it shifting by itself up and down if i using a 1st gear (a high gear) 4th gear or 5th gear while running or spinning in rides

same issue here on my sx, shifting isnt so very smooth is it? it always makes this chain noise, and sometimes it downshift automatically like wtf XD. i choose sx was because i cant afford a better one like GX, so i guess i just have to get on with it(its not too bad afterall, just a bit stupid)

Crazy boy, I have GX and it does the same crap. The tolerances are so thin on the entire system that even if you get it set up perfectly within 5 minutes of a ride it'll start to malfunction that's just the way it is nightmare

Too tight adjusted limitscrews from the bikeshop. That ment that there wasn't enough room for it to shift 11 times. This made it jump a gear in the middle gears and not engaging correctly in any gear but the smallest and largest cog.

@@FearDNone As written in the description: "Solution: Too tight adjusted limitscrews from the bikeshop." I adjusted the limitscrews to allow for the full movement of the shifter. It looked like it worked as it should and was adjusted correctly, but the shifter was only able to move through 11 gears.
