SRB2 Emerald Coast Race (Sonic Race)

Two normal videos in two days and not a single live stream? unnatural right? but anyways, here we have every sonic mod racing each other in emerald coast (except Sonic.exe and Xtreme Sonic since 1. those mods mess up the game. and 2. Sonic.exe isn't necessarily "Sonic" and Xtreme Sonic is basically SRB2 Sonic, since those were the sprites that were used in the first demo.)

I adore these videos, you make each of the sonics feel like a valid choice to play even though realistically some of them would still be struggling to catch up to mystic and modern, and the sheer level of restraint and dedication that must take too especially with some of the more powerful sonics. And the little bit of roleplay where you line up each of them at the start must be annoying to set up. Though should include Metal in these for fun.

The mod you're looking for is Custom Gamedata. It allows you to use custom characters in singleplayer (save files, Record Attack, etc.), as long as you load in the characters first and the Custom Gamedata mod after.

Some mods have their own custom save, or use the custom save mod on the release board. You need to download the characters FIRST and THEN download either the levels with custom save or the custom save mod.

@@lithiumwyvern_ Actually. he did win. if Modern moved just a bit more forward, then Modern would win. However what I normally do with SMS is nerf him a bit since it's clear he would obviously win, but given how the Momentum mods slow SMS down, it wasn't hard for me to do that.

@@lithiumwyvern_ the momentum mod actually does slow SMS down. sure it doesn't slow his normal running speed, but you can't sprint anymore, unless you get enough speed, and even then the sprint speed isn't as fast as SMS's sprint without any momentum mods. also, what I was really trying to do at the end, was pull a taunt when I reached the end, and then run to the capsule (To kinda fit with how modern acts a lot of the time) but I did it a little late and SMS took the win. if I did it sooner THEN Modern would've won.

SMS can always sprint (C1 on the ground), his speed break is just as fast (155 FU/t) and takes about the same time to reach, he isn't slower than without XMomentum. However, he doesn't build speed down slopes quite like other characters do with XMomentum. Are you sure your versions of SMSReborn and XMomentum are up to date? Or maybe you're using the other momentum mod?
