This is nice from them (especially since she wasn't added in Mania Plus for some reasons)... Personally I was more surprised by *(spoilers)* Fang being as the boss of Arid Canyon (and as an unlockable character) because he was never in a main home console game

@@ikagura Spoilers for anyone not this far. I actually unlocked Fang *first* myself, actually audibly (and loudly) went 'WHAT?', and then subsequently went to smoke this level as him. Needless to say the 'PLAY AS AMY' text got a similar reaction to 'PLAY AS FANG', especially since the first time I didn't even notice Amy in-level. (I noticed her later while combing the level for emblems as Tails.)

Well, it's cleanup time. Sonic and Tails are taking the newly-salvaged-and-rebuilt Metal out for a test drive to dispose of badniks. The trio blasts through blocks of ice and badniks. The snow gets deep, but Metal just flies over it. Sonic, definitely not out of jealousy, has Tails fly him out. "It looks like Metal 2.0 is a success!" remarks Tails. "Right now, sure, but do you think Eggman can just override him?" "Nobody's seen him in ages! It's not like him to- oh! Hi, Amy!" "Amy!?" Sonic looks down, and sure enough, there's Amy. She's closely examining Metal, who stares intently. She notices Tails once he calls out. "Tails! Did you change up Metal?" "Sure did! I got a once-in-a-lifetime chance, and I wasn't gonna pass it up!" Sonic jumps out of Tails' grasp, and is immediately glomped by Amy. "I was just destroying some of these nasty badniks still swarming," Amy explains. "So were we," adds Tails, "and we brought Metal for a test drive!" "Then maybe I could join you?" Sonic groans. "Tails, do we have to?" "The more the merrier!" "Uuuugh..."
