I have the early version of this 5-pack (Blackwalls/Ultra Hots/Plastic 308) and it was well loved. Surprised you didn't mention the F40's odd final revision that appeared only in the 2014 5-Pack, with the one-cast body and closed headlights and so on. Oh, and I have the ruby FAO Schwarz Testarossa ;) Great video!

Hopefully, HW's will regain the licensing rights to Ferrari again in the future but to collectors this a valuable 5pk as I've seen it listed as much as $30.

I think Ferrari was asking a lot of money. That's why HW's didn't re-new their contract with them.

These Ferrari 5 Packs are selling on eBay for $89 to $165. I just got five of them from my local craigslist for really cheap. I am going to keep three of the 5 Packs and sell the remaining two for $119.95 each. The Ferrari 308 with the plastic body is rare and commands very high prices. I own three of them in new condition. In about 2 years I will sell them for $5000.00 each, and I will get it. There are only a few hundred of the Ferrari 308 cars with the plastic body world wide. There was a screw up at the factory in China. Mattel quickly caught the error and told China the bodies need to be metal.
