Sreang Heng and Tarık Günersel 2024

Dear Earthmates,
Sreang Heng is the founding President of Cambodia PEN Centre. We met at the PEN Tokyo Congress in 2010. Then we talked in Brussels in 2011. Heng studied philosophy and he works on the development of education. He has been in the US for eight years.
This interview with him (on Oct 2, 2024) is about his life, thoughts, Cambodia and other topics.
According to the (partly) Asian tradition, the surname comes first. Heng Sreang. But to make communication easier, my dear friend has preferred to say Sreang Heng.
He has been a refined example of a great citizen of the world, a true Earthmate.
