The remains of 14 victims of the 1995 massacre of thousands of Bosnian Muslim men and boys were buried on Thursday (July 11) to commemorate the 29th anniversary of the killings, seen as Europe's only atrocity constituting genocide since World War Two.
The anniversary comes two months after the United Nations General Assembly declared July 11 an international day of remembrance of the Srebrenica genocide.
The youngest among the 14 victims buried on Thursday was a 17-year old boy, the eldest was 68. Their remains were laid to rest after the commemoration ceremony in Srebrenica's memorial cemetery.
