Ahhh...this takes me back to when I was a kid. Mum taking me on the train to the city. I loved the smell of the brakes and diesel

That intersection at Two Wells is right where my grandparents farm is. Such a small world, im surprised my uncle wasn't standing there with them

You would be amazed at the coincidences I've had with people seeing my 80s and 90-s video. Even one lady who contacted me after seeing herself in an early 90s video.

Want to come back for a visit. I suspect I will be as shocked by the changes as Melbourne recently.

I know that bus well. I used to work for Transit Regency Coaches. That was their bus 10. She was a 1985 Mercedes-Benz 1617 with a PMC Executive body!

I can't understand why South Australia is only now just going over to electric, given that the other states had electric trains many decades ago?

Took their time indeed. Got to go back for a look.

I was happy to see so many of those Alco locomotives are still in existence! I thought most would have been scrapped by now!

The days when Redhens, 2000 and 3000 class railcars all ran together. The Reds were getting phased out and the 3000's were replacing them. Fast forward 26 years and only the 3000 series remains. Some of the 2000 class cars already had Cummins engines such as 2011. 2003-2104 also were together in Admet colours in their final years.

Reece's Transport Movies They technically weren’t banned, they just couldn’t run on the Belair line due to the overhead wires

+Jacko’s Transport Videos And also they didn’t like to run them to Belair as the curves are steep and the hills were too big for them. Although in 2009 a bike train was set up having one entire side with bike racks in one of the Jumbos. It ran in a two car set on weekends.

Adelaide Trains and Trams Not really, they were fairly common up in the hills in the early days, they didn’t have a problem with Jumbos going up the hill they suited the north & Noarlunga lines better in the peak hour so they just left the Poxboxes on the Belair line, got a mate who drives fro Adelaide Metro and he’s said that he loved driving the Jumbos up the Hill, he done one of his first driving tests up the Belair line in a Jumbo And yeah I know, saw it a few times

+Jacko’s Transport Videos Yeah I know that, later on tho they were removed from the line to ‘save’ them.
