My humble obeisance to respectful Acharyarige, 💐🙏 my doubt is, when we take someone to Past life regression, often we see one who presently having male or female body, same person was in opposite gender in his previous birth or in same gender. If soul has gender and 5 material elements are genderless. How come same soul takes different gender bodies. Please clarify.

Gender in jeeva is nature, no one can change it so male will be male always and female too.. But in situations like sin or shapa or vara it male can obtain female body(ex puranjana in bhagavata) But female can never obtain male body , If u ask why..its because its nature.
