There is a saying that goes like "Live like Sri Ram did and live by what Sri Krishna SAID" because we can't live like Krishna did. He used all his divine powers to lift Govardhan, tamed an Anakonda as it were of Kaliya and danced on its /his head, killed demons even as a child... and so on. He spoke in the Geetha to Prince Arjun "the fools think I am a human, unknowing that I am the Lord.." (अव जानन्थि मां मूडा मानुषीं थनुमस्रिथम् ....) unlike Sri Raam who lived like a human and declared that he considered himself as one (आत्मानं मानुषीं मन्ये ...). So we can't imitate Sri Krishna's deeds, but should follow his advice to attain liberation from the limitations of human being.

There are hundreds of progs around during Janmashtami that people are more likely to go to more vibrant local progs of chanting and discourses. The people who turn up to U tube for spiritual purposes are less because the common people are more attracted to temple events and direct discourses arranged in the local temples and Mutts. The elite however listen to music and talks on electronic media and you find million viewers in them. But Krishna will not be missed by average Hindu.

Theres a reason why Lord Krishna had many wives...there's a story behind the many wives Krishna had. Lord Krishna saved those women from the Demon who kidnapped them and the Lord thought that the society won't accept these women with the same respect as before....(even in today's world, the girl who is fled away by another male with force is not accepted as respectfully as before)...so thats why Lord Krishna married them and joined their name with him....thus giving them the respect back that they had.

But the moral of Ram gives hindus a ground where they can stand upto the most powerful gods of the world at present ie jesus and allah.. while the krishna devotees endear the others into krishna bhakti, it is the Ram bhaktas who look directly into the eyes of abrahamics and say with confidence that we have the One who was Dharma personified.

Actually we don't need such a marvellous personality as Ram to fight Abrahamic hostility , any thinking human in their sane mind can discard the garbage and perverted worldviews presented in those traditions. Unity and physical strength is more required because you already have the moral standing.

Sir but What happened with Sabarimala was not right. Sir Let me put this theory of mine about another topic. All this time in 70 years hindus had been away from their Shastras but due to Internet and reliance we know the real reason of our customs and traditions. Like Polygamy. For people who don't know . Shastras are divided into changeable Smriti and permanent Shruti. Laws are part of Shruti. So Polygamy and Polyandry was a part for a certain period of time for sure. Who started it and why, don't know the reason but one thing for sure that it wasn't sanctioned by Gods. Krishna himself said he was marrying not for selfish reasons but for the compliances he had to do. Then people say Vedas sanction Patriarchy cause he have no Goddesses having multiple Husbands. For them my answer - Krishna himself didn't do polygamy for selfish reasons nor did Draupadi. Krishna is considered God in the mainstream cause he did so many extraordinary things. I believe it was the product of the patriarchical society formed after the life of these peole that put Stories of Krishna as God being polygamous in mainstream and Draupadi as a Goddess in backfoot. But if you research then you will find that Draupadi was also considered as an incarnation of Adi Shakti and Goddess Kali. There are tribals in India who worship the Pandavas and Draupadi in Himachal. I chose to see through the lens of Love for our Gods rather than marxism or Feminism alone. With being a Women supporter we should have a good image and we will find answers. Vanshika Sharma @KSK polygamy among gods can be justified but polygamy of mortal man cannot.
