Please stop complaining about the price difference, 900Rs is £2.19 The reason there is a price difference is because if we charge everybody the local price then there would not be enough income to maintain the tourist attraction. If we charge everybody the 900Rs then locals can't afford to see their own historical sights Compared what u pay to see the attractions in the UK like Buckingham Palace the London Eye etc etc £2.19 is a bargain. Surely your western brain can figure that out. I mean u can't get a cup of Starbucks coffee for £2.19 in Britain I'm speaking as a British Sri Lankan

In totally understand if there is something to maintain, but this is a view point on top of a hill and nothing else... hardly comparable to the London eye or Buckingham palace. Perhaps more comparable to a mountain like Snowdon or Ben Nevis, which are of course free. Seems a bit money grabby...
