Anyhow overlooking Diyawanna Oya, Parliament Baddegana, Duuwa brings back very sad memories where I lost my only brother in the waters of Diyawanna where our family had to run to that very spot "Duuwa" only to bring back his icy cold body in a police jeep. Oh that Parliament ......

If the Prince is who I think it is, then this house was.built or purchased with public money. In true Sri Lankan civilised fashion, this was the best way to spend that money. It was for this purpose that he and his Family were so enthusiastically elected. As the elected first family, it is their duty to bust the people's resources!

Sri Lanka’s housing prices are obnoxiously high! How and why is this land worth 1.5mil USD? What is the logic? Close to the parliament? How is that benefitting? 😂 And this house is not that good looking either. Its a house built to the shape of the land...a strip of land where in my area we could buy for like 400K LKR per perch. Crazy stupid, and good to fool the rich. Just check what you can buy for 1.5mil USD in states like Texas, and in Canada! This is such a ripoff. Horrible.
