Sri Lanka Surf Report: Madiha, 29 October 2020

The first swell of the season arrived to South Sri Lanka.
Madiha is a surf spot in Matara district, with challenging left hander breaking over a shallow reef, and a more forgiving right hander, suitable for intermediate surfers.

loved the vid guys...the surfing was fun to watch...music v kool...I surfed SL in 1992, haha 29 years ago...Hikkadua...left my red, black, white thruster to one of the local groms...sorry cannot remember his name...he would be about 40 years old now and ripping I hope...hope to get back there post Covid...cheers

Thanks Robert! Thats amazing when people visiting Sri Lanka give back to the community. And years back it was such a hustle to get hands on a surf board, so for sure you did great thing! Slowly Sri Lanka reopens to travelers and it's easy to get back especially if your vaccinated. Come back when you get a chance, you'd be surprised how the place's changed over the years, but waves are still just as great!
