This trip to the village felt very warm, and watching you interact with each other, it felt like you had known each other for a long time! That lizard was so big, but what was even scarier was the smallest ant! Watching you swat away the ants makes my skin itchy! The Buddha statue in that village is so big, it should be a very sacred place! That hand-knitted bag is very delicate and beautiful. I believe every girl would want to own one! That elephant is so cute, it keeps greeting you with its trunk! After watching, I suddenly want to remind you that I have heard doctors say that you should not wear a hat all the time. Only by letting your scalp breathe can it be healthy! Thanks a lot for sharing, really great job! 👍😍👏

This temple is called Daladawatte probably because it was a place where the Dalada relic was temporarily hidden during an invasion of the area of the main Dalada temple by enemies. In Sri Lanka the claim to kingship required the Dalada relic to be under the protection of the king as a symbol of our national sovereignty. 🇱🇰 ! Because Sri Lanka was threatened by many enemies during our long national history, there are many such temples in Sri Lanka that have provided refuge to the Dalada relic, at different times. Historically, the Dalada relic was the main national treasure of the majority Sinhala Buddhist people of Sri Lanka ! We fought to protect the Dalada relic, and died by the thousands if necessary ! 🇱🇰! 🇱🇰! 🇱🇰!

There two main types of these types of lizards in Sri Lanka: 1. large brown ones like this one called Kabaragoya; they can be much larger, upto 6-7ft, and 2. smaller 1-3ft black ones called Thalagoya. They say larger Kabaragoyas can break your leg with one hard swing of its tail !
