Sri Mariamman Temple | Pre-Firewalking Festival Ubhayam | Kampong Bahru Pillaigal | 5.10.2017

Special Ubhayams were organised by Kampong Bahru Pillaigal in the lead up to firewalking festival 2017. Utsava murti was decorated as Karumariamman. This video depicts the oorvalam (procession) of Ambal around the temple grounds with malahari, karpoora nayagiye kanakavalli, magudi and ambigaye eswariye played on the nadaswaram and thavil. She re-entered the temple to the song Amman Koil Kumbham Enge. After which ambal was gently rocked to the music of Om Sakthi on the nadaswaram and thavil before returning to the vasantha mandabam.
