The Shri Chakra is expounded in the ‘்Soundarya Lahari ‘ by Adi Shankara. It is the interaction of Shiva ( Male ) and Shakti ( Female ) forces in the Universe as represented by interacting Triangles . The interaction results in creation of the Universe ! Meditation on the Shri Chakra leads to ‘ Shri Vidya ‘ the transcendental knowledge as opposed to ordinary Knowledge which is Just Vidhya !
