ENDING - Previous house owner through his works predicts the future of the next house owner. Poet did for jebis father. Jebins father did for him through his paintings. And now jebin predicts the future of Arti and his husband (the director) through his novel as aarti became the owner of the property.

Ending explained: Energy can neither be created nor be destroyed. It can only be transformed from one form to another. The negative energy in this movie is transformed from the paintings to the book he wrote. The heroine will anyhow be destined to be killed in the hands of her husband. Since Jebin is not her husband, it is SJ Suriya, will kill her based on the way written by Jebin in his second book, The Director. At the end whatever is shown in the paintings happened in the movie. The key reason is not shown, though. Maybe it is cliche to focus on the main reason and put an end to the story, the director moved on to the circumstances because of the paintings. Great screenplay. A new experience at least for me.

Khaja Rehan theory is okay. But why would SJ Suriya kill his wife? Ashok Selvan committed suicide because he thought he will kill his future wife. To prevent that from happening, he committed suicide along with the burning house so that the house can't take anymore lives. OK the house had negative energies. As Ashok selvan is the owner of the house, he was dead. Nasser died because he brought the house and predicted the future and fell ill coz he couldn't tolerate what's going to happen. By seeing the story bad deeds happen to only the owners of the house. There should've been a better explanation for the ending of the movie. Directors thought is still unknown

If at all he waited he would know the True Colours of the Gold Digger Heroine and Reject her 👍🏼. Then heroine would eventually marry SJ Surya and the following incidents will happen 👍🏼. Also Ashok Selvan wanted to sell the House. 2. The House is bought again by SJ Surya for and in the Name of the Heroine 👍🏼. That's why the Heroine is destined to die 👍🏼
