I don't mean to be insensitive but it must of been beautiful knowing a spirit of his magnitude was travelling on and had more than done his work. I personally am getting to realise how important His Divine Grace Srila Prabupada is to this plane of existence. The window he brought to the lost world is immeasurable. I can't comprehend how I'd of been given the opportunity to attempt to understand who I am what reality is and develop love for the source of all reality. My heart is overwhelmed with gratitude towards the disciplic succession and to the Supreme Personality of Godhead Lord Krishna. I am still very much a begginer yet things are making more sense and I feel a great sense of purpose beyond death. I hope I develop a commitment and practice. Hare Krishna.

Friends, please do not forget this video of our srilaprabhupada. I know for sure lord sri Krishna will balance out the evil doings by giving them the taste of their own medicine someday. But please I request all the devotees do not be a blind devotee offering dandavat pranam to every one who comes in saffron cloth with time stamp in Iskcon. Make sure whether he is truly a disciple of srila prabhupada not parroting the words from prabhupada books. Some people dislike Srila Prabhupada because they don't understand his spiritual mood...specially those Indian nationalists...which they are quite in fashion nowadays...Srila Prabhupada was always speaking very strongly against nationalism...because nationalism is in the bodily concept of life...and it is the tool politicians use nowadays to manipulate people's feelings to take advantage of them...People in India have gone from being colonized by melechas to become now Hindu supremacists...but forgetting that they are just spiritual jeevas without any temporary designation...

Wise Desi the spirit of India was broken slowly during the long period of oppression. Slowly western education was used to break the ties of Indians with their own identity, they were made ashamed of their own culture and every thing that is purely indian . Until they developed a slave mentality. Hence all the western educated leaders ( slave mentality)post independence like Nehru , tried to break the remaining traditions of India in the favour of westernisation. But today it is changing again slowly. With a generation that was born post independence has shrugged off the slave mind set and are trying to gain pride for this great civilisation once again.

Because he went to a foreign country at the age of 70 completely alone with only 40 rupees in hand. Went to center of Maya, (illusion) and irreligious practice, NY City. He was in the midst of atheist people, undisciplined, lsd addicted hippies. All he did was follow process of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu (the mist recent incarnation if Krishna) and his spiritual master, Chant Hare Krishna, distribute Prasadam (sanctified food) and distribute books on Krishna consciousness. Through doing this he attracted many people from all kinds of backgrounds. By following Prabhupada's teachings they were able to give up their habits such as drug addiction and alcohol dependence and so much more. He established 108 temples in the western countries. Which was predicted by Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. This is only a small peak of his glories. If you are still not convinced I recommend reading his biographies.
