sriman , my one cent, don't keep bike dirty during long rides as it will clog the radiators and other delicate things. do proper wash in between the rides so that dirt and mud wont clog radiators, front suspension pipes, rear shock springs and all those delicate wire sockets. i also did these kind of mistakes during my initial long rides. once an experienced rider who joined our trip in between suggested this and since then we are following the same.. @sriman and all others..

Dear Sriman. Am sure this will get lost in the myriad of comments by your admirers. You seem to have landed in Sikkim in the wrong season. I have been to north Sikkim a few times now. Hence request you to visit Sikkim in Jan to Apr. It would be bitterly cold but you will see the same Yumthang and Zero Point very differently. It would be snow covered. Literally looking like the poles. In Apr in Yumthang, each hillside is of a different colour due to orchids. The traveller in you would love it. That, I can guarantee. Hope you are not missing out Gurudongmar Lake on you trip. Ride Safe.
