Good job bro, most of the info that u shared were not out there in the market because when we ask about this bike the public opinion starts with the exhaust and ends with the exhaust. Truely the exhaust system the sound is soooo good that it hides most of the bad things about the bike but things like weight and fuel issues were not known to majority of the crowd who don't get to ride this bike.... Thanks a lot for this video,this is called THE HONEST REVIEW for a bike. keep giving us good stuff like this...

Its been 1.5 years, since i have 600i. Very good, too the point review. One thing to mention though. The buttons on the console are fine. Its mechanism is in a way that you have to press them with fingernails & not the thumb like you were doing mate. The review is spot on. Beautiful review. Compare it with any other & this one tops the list. You could change the headline though😂. Its not that bad.
@SrimanKotaru8 жыл бұрын
I agree that using a fingernail may make it better but after a few months there is possibility of pricking the rubber and cause damage. It happened to one of my friend's bike coz he uses fingernails. And also, most of the time when we are riding the bike, we use thick gloves which calls in for better buttons :)

Great review. Honest and clear cut. Regarding the bad items; Benellis are often front weight bias, I have a tornado 900 tre. Very front weight bias, this is by design. I guess they have their reasons and have kept this practice up. You raise an excellent point re the fuel overflow. That is a shocking design flaw and I am surprised it got through R and D and testing! It should be a recall on the bike and a solution be provided free. In the interim, considering how dangerous it is, I would take it straight to the dealer and make them put a safer overflow mechanism in place. If you do a bit of research, I am sure you would find a better bulb for the light, I dont ride much at night so cant really comment on it. I know its not great but considering how little I ride at night, it doesnt bother me. I must do a review on mine in the same context that you have done yours!

Awesome review bro.. The best thing I like about your video is that you are not selling anything.. other reviewers will try to compare or put in selling points.. the worst is that they will end it with the exhaust note which sells the bike in a second... your review is pretty honest and it really is helpful.. I still love this bike and I am saving up for it.. I will definitely go for the ABS version.. In terms of the service intervals.. You can extend it a bit.. 4000kms is too less.. The first service could be done in 4000 but later, you could keep the intervals to 6000kms.. Also, please let us know the experience of a pillion rider on this.. I heard the exhaust heats up a lot .. Last, please let us know if you changed the tires and how much it cost you.

@SrimanKotaru8 жыл бұрын
I would love to own a R6, unfortunately, they don't sell it in India yet. As my bike is just an year old, I don't want to work on it as it may void the warranty. Good luck :)
@ranssom18 жыл бұрын
Sriman Kotaru cheers buddy. dont do anything while its in warranty. but under warranty u dont hav to take it to showroom. u can also work on authorized service or qualified mechanics. and ur warranty will still be valid. u can do researchers on internet.
@jeevanchaukar8 жыл бұрын
That isn't the situation in India. Relatively labour is lower here (it is still very high in any super bike service centre compared to normal bikes exactly for same activities - purely due to brand premium). In warranty period there is no point in DIY and risking the warranty. After 2 years or whatever is applicable warranty, you are free to experiment as now a days there are options to get bike serviced elsewhere. But certainly spare availability is a concern even within service centre attached to the showroom - so getting same outside is way too difficult. Unless one has someone in Germany, Italy, UK or Thailand/Singapore, it is very hard to get parts on your own.

Why on earth do you have the habit of overfilling when refuelling? That's a no-no, no matter what bike. The drain tube is mostly to drain rainwater that may have seeped thru the edges of the fuel filler cap (it won't get past the cap gasket into the fuel tank itself, instead it will collect around it and eventually flow out of the drain tube). Mine is a 2013 bike, here are my gripes: 1) Rubbish switchgear. The turnsignal switch broke, requiring the entire left switchgear assembly to be replaced because any non-standard replacement will screw up the EFI. 2) Rubbish rubber hoses. Early bikes like mine had rubber high pressure fuel hoses under the tank that perished after just 3 years. You get hairline cracks in the rubber that only get bigger in short order. A real fire hazard - be sure to check yours! Upgraded mine to the newer type that did away with the rubbish rubber hoses and uses a harder material. The coolant hoses look like have started to get out of shape in places - I intend to replace them with silicone hoses next year. 3) Leaking tank near the hinge. In any bike that has a tilting fuel tank, this is always a weak spot. Never lift the tank when there's a lot of fuel inside. I usually wait until I have used up enough fuel to cause the gauge to blink before lifting the tank to access the airbox. And even then, I have to use the seat to support the tank so that it doesn't tilt way past vertical. 4) Bullshit body panels. Way too many panels, requiring way too many bolts to unfasten even for simple maintenance. The tabs that hold the bolts are brittle and will break. 5) No engine oil sightglass. Whyyyyyyyy....?

Hi, every bike has its own shortcomings and advantages. Even if you spend 30 lakh rupees and buy Daytona (Triumph , a most appreciated brand world over) / Panigale (Ducati, quickest bike until Kawasaki H2R comes) which are nimble even at higher speeds, you will realize certains aspects you do NOT like in your bike but which are overcomed in other less costly superbikes, it is marketing strategy used by many companies irrespective of the amount of money you invest on their product. You call & ask Audi owners, they will be fond of BMWs, ask BMW owners, they will be fond of AUdis or Jaguar. It is mere marketing trick. So Benelli TNT 600i is one of the best entry level superbikes with a justified price! It has few shortcomings as he mentioned which can easily be managed in month of use. Why do you fill the gas tank to brimming level? just pour 2lts lesser than the capacity, this way you can manage it. Under 2000RPM, it lags power; okay, just shift the gear to one level down, you can get surge of power, this is also manageable! (can you imagine our toy bikes like pulsar220, apache 200, gixxer and even yzf-r15 giving the power delivery when you want to overtake a vehicle? compare to these, this superbike is truly awesome! Or tell me which Indian bike delivers surge of power the moment you open the throttle? You mean RE? ha ha only sound increases, vehicle moves at the same speed; I usually tease REs on trafficky roads with my 100cc commuter bike, you know it?) Moreover, this bike has sturdy and reliable engine irrespective of your riding style: ensure it has enough quantity & quality engine oil in it, you can just thrash her. The tuning of engine will be intact! Apart from these advantages, it gives its exhaust note as music to ears; it is surely a head turner on street; you will surely be proud of owning her! It is one of rare models which has under belly exhaust which makes it to stand out in the crowd! In addition to these all, which superbike do you think does give 22Kmpl mileage today?. So it is a steal for the price! (7Lakh on road, a superbike!) I bet you! you mention your favourite bike model; google it; you can find its own drawbacks! So, it is all our mind that makes everything acceptable or aversable! Sorry, I'm a professor basically, so looooong answer! (curse of our profession!)

@SrimanKotaru8 жыл бұрын
Depends on the purpose buddy. If you like to tour, you can't go for a Daytona. It's a proper track bike. So choose between street and 600 depending on your budget. I won't say 600 is a horrible bike but like any other bike has it's defects. Give me a street triple for a year and I will come up with its cons. Cheers :)
