While a young woman was enjoying a bath in her apartment, an unexpected visitor tumbled in from a window directly into her bathtub. Shocked, she immediately felt unsure, but the guy urgently gestured her to be silent as the noise could alert the woman's husband, who was in the other room. Then, he swiftly secured the door, attempting to buy some time. However, the man had the key and quickly managed to get in, confronting his wife and accusing her of disrespecting him. The fear in her heart was palpable at that point! Surprisingly, the husband decided to join his wife in the bathtub, putting the young fellow on the brink of exposure. Yet, oddly enough, the distressed woman hesitated and refrained from revealing the stranger's presence for reasons only she knew about...

Thanks! DramatizeMe continues to show that domestic violence and spousal abuse is an important problem in the world. There is an insidious pattern to the abuse and who better to portray the abuser than Serj Avakian. He really gets into his roles and he really delivers a realistic portrayal of an abusive spouse, a serious wife beater. When he grabbed her, I am thinking, that has got to leave a bruise... but Serj is so in control of grip and such a skilled VR actor, he would not bruise a peach. Kudos to DramatizeMe makeup artists for realistic visual effects showing spider micro spider hemorrhages that come from getting slapped and slapped hard on her torso and bruising both old and new -- and they do this with her getting out of a bathtub wet and soapy. That is awesome make-up work. Angelina Guguszczyna played the victim perfectly and portrayed the psychological scarring and resignation to the abuse and loss of hope. But what really made the episode work for me is the reason for her savior showing up in her bathtub was not that he was a robber, but this was his attempt to save her. "I am Emma and this was/is my love story." Another great episode!
