I'd also would like to add that the scholarships changes from campus to campus, for the main campus your scholarships are cutoff at rank 490. To the best of my knowledge, Guaranteed scholarships are only given till rank 40 and after that rank it is conditional scholarships.

The SRM hostel is very expensive compared to KIIT. KIIT 2 bedded AC is around 70k(attached bathroom) whereas the SRM 2 bedded AC is 1,50,000(attached bathroom) but the tuition fees of both the universities are very close. So, the total expense is much more in SRM than KIIT if you decide to take ac in both the universities and well trust me if you arent adjusted to the heat of both the cities, it is like living in hell without AC in these cities .

About SRM other Campuses (RMP And City Campus). If you Can sacrifice the luxury of mighty KTR campus and Want to leave Near the Chennai city with an affordable tuition fee go for these Campuses. All the Bright students emerge from Either VDP or RMP campus KTR is For The Actual Campus Life. And if placements are your concern, all students ultimately have to appear at KTR Campus only for it so there is no as such discrimination issue.

Now In KIIT School of computer Engineering you can see more than 80% students who got chance NITs but max students got lower Departments like civil, chemical etc due to they leave NITs. Again if you compare Faculty & Teaching KIIT better maximum NITs. On campus Placement NITs slight better, but off-campus Placement kiit >> max nits. becz NITs are very old Colleges It's on campus placement stand strongly. But it ensure than after 10-15 yeara KIIT will stand with BITs pilani & IITs. Becz of it superfast growth & very good placement. Specially kiit students doing much better in off-campus placement. Around 27 students got placed at Google a single year in off-campus placement, but the same year no one get placed at Google in on-campus placement. As a very new college KIIT obviously a big brand Today. it will overcome all nits definitely like bits pilani (after 10-15 years).

KIIT is not worth the fee, plus it's in Orissa, a backward state, there will less industry exposure, plus vit ap is a franchise, no point for going there, seems like a money mining uni, so for now, I'm opting for chitkara

@@pri2155 are toh chitkara kaunsa mahaan college hai , mera vit bhopal cat 1 laga fir bhi mai kiits cse ja raha kyuki opportunity milegi kyuki top 1500 logo ka avg ctc 8.5 lpa hai. approx 3.5k bacche hai which is decent. and by the odisha thora backward hai lekin kiits is situated in bbsr capital, you will get good college life

@@heyhey4096 I’m aware of KIITs location and packages, I'm more concerned with grooming at this point, KIIT no lie has a wonderful campus but the kind of study offered in chitkara and kiit is same. there's grain like difference if any, moreover chitkara really pushes their students towards grooming, i see better opportunities there, and package ki baat hai toh, chitkara bhi karva hi dega lol, skill set better develop hoga in chitkara if and if you outshine. Anyway good luck to you :)
