I think in their minds they just need to 'feed' and because it's a repetitive pattern because it's addiction, they're basically stuck doing the same thing over and over until it takes a toll on their general well-being (health and mental health). I'm not exactly old fashioned, but I don't mind being called one, but I feel bad not only for the sex-worker, but more so for myself subscribing to such acts as to why I chose not to. It's just not the kind of thing I fantasize. I'm not as shallow as many people as it turned out. Even it surprises me at time.
