I have been hoping for something like this for SO LONG now! You have the absolute PERFECT voice for readings, narration and voice overs. I LOVE the fact that you did not go with all of the soft and fuzzy animals, but rather went with animals that are poisonous, deadly and dangerous! I learned about the peacock mantis shrimp a couple years ago…awesome critters. With their punches, there’s a physical reaction that takes place which heats the impact area to HIGH temperatures; for a fraction of a second, the punch sites reach temps of thousands of degrees (not sure of F or C, but HOT either way). Also, their eyes’ capabilities are neat.

It is such a bummer when common misconceptions gets printed in factual books. The orca is a whale, because all dolphins are whales, toothed whales to be more precise. These two categories are not mutually exclusive, despite common belief. Even if we in common colloquial speak doesn't consider dolphins as whales, it has no place in a scientific book teaching about animals. To not consider dolphins whales, would be the same as saying penguins aren't birds or that humans aren't primates.
